Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 11, 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how FastClick Digital LLP ("FastClick", "we", "us", or "our"), registered at 1808, Haware Infotech Park, Sector 30A, Vashi, Navi Mumbai – 400703, India, uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website. By continuing to use our website, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners.

In addition to cookies, we also use similar technologies such as:

  • Pixels / Web Beacons: Small invisible images embedded in web pages and emails that track user behavior and conversions
  • Local Storage: Browser-based storage that persists data between sessions without using cookies
  • Session Storage: Temporary storage that is cleared when the browser tab is closed

2. Categories of Cookies Deployed

The cookies and similar tracking technologies deployed on this website are categorised as follows, based on their function, necessity, and the legal basis for their use:

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are technically essential for the operation of this website and cannot be disabled without materially impairing the delivery of services explicitly requested by the user. These cookies do not collect any information that could be used for marketing or behavioural tracking purposes, and no consent is required for their placement under applicable law. They are set exclusively in response to user-initiated actions, such as completing and submitting a contact or lead enquiry form, authenticating a user session, or recording user consent preferences. The cookies in this category include session management tokens, which are transient and expire upon closure of the browser session; cross-site request forgery (CSRF) prevention tokens, which are security mechanisms designed to protect the integrity of form submissions against unauthorised third-party request forgery attacks and which persist for the duration of the browser session; and the cookie consent preference record, which stores your stated cookie preferences for a period of up to 12 (twelve) months to avoid repeated consent requests.

2.2 Performance and Analytics Cookies

Performance and analytics cookies enable us to collect aggregated, statistical information about how visitors interact with our website, including the pages accessed, the duration of visits, the source of referral traffic, and patterns of navigation and exit. This information is used solely for the purpose of understanding website usage, identifying areas for improvement, measuring the effectiveness of our digital content, and generating anonymised audience insights. These cookies do not identify individual users and are not used to deliver targeted advertising. They are deployed by Google Analytics 4 ("GA4"), which places the following persistent identifiers: the _ga cookie, which assigns a pseudonymous unique client identifier to distinguish individual visitors and persists for a period of 2 (two) years from the date of last activity; the _gid cookie, which similarly distinguishes users on a short-term basis and expires after 24 (twenty-four) hours; the _gat cookie, which is used to throttle the rate of requests made to Google's analytics servers and expires within 1 (one) minute; and the _gcl_au cookie, deployed by Google Tag Manager to facilitate conversion event attribution between Google Ads and Google Analytics, which persists for a period of 90 (ninety) days. Deployment of these cookies is subject to your consent where required by applicable law.

2.3 Advertising and Targeting Cookies

Advertising and targeting cookies are placed by our authorised third-party advertising partners — principally Meta Platforms, Inc. and Google LLC — for the purpose of building pseudonymous profiles of users' interests and online behaviours, delivering personalised and interest-based advertisements across digital properties, measuring the attribution of advertising-driven conversions, and constructing custom and lookalike audience segments for use in paid media campaigns. The _fbp cookie, set by Meta via the Facebook Pixel, uniquely identifies the user's browser for the purpose of tracking conversion events (including page views, lead form completions, and enquiry submissions) attributable to Meta advertising campaigns, and persists for a period of 90 (ninety) days. The _fbc cookie, also set by Meta, stores click-through information from Facebook and Instagram advertisements to enable accurate attribution of user journeys that originate from a Meta ad click, and similarly persists for 90 (ninety) days. The IDE cookie, set by Google through its DoubleClick/Google Display Network infrastructure, is used for display advertising targeting, frequency capping, and campaign performance measurement, and persists for up to 13 (thirteen) months. The NID cookie, set by Google, stores user preferences and a pseudonymous identifier to enable ad personalisation and is retained for a period of 6 (six) months. All advertising cookies are subject to your prior consent and may be refused or withdrawn at any time using the mechanisms described in Section 7 of this Policy.

2.4 Functional Cookies

Functional cookies enable enhanced website functionality and a degree of personalisation beyond what is strictly necessary for the provision of the requested service. They may be used to remember user preferences such as language selection, pre-populated form fields, or previously indicated contact preferences. Disabling functional cookies may result in the degradation or unavailability of certain non-essential features of the website. These cookies do not track users across third-party websites and are not used for advertising purposes. Deployment of functional cookies is contingent on your consent where required by applicable law.

3. Use of Tracking Technologies in Advertising Campaigns

As a performance marketing agency specialising in real estate lead generation, the deployment and management of tracking technologies constitutes an integral and indispensable component of the Services we provide to our clients. The following tracking mechanisms are operated by FastClick Digital LLP in the course of delivering client campaigns and are deployed on our own website as well as, where applicable, on client-owned landing pages and digital properties pursuant to the terms of the relevant Service Agreement:

  • Meta Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI): The Meta Pixel is a JavaScript-based tracking code that, when fired by a user's browser upon visiting a tracked page or completing a tracked event (including but not limited to page views, form initiations, form completions, and telephony click events), transmits a payload of event data — including the URL, user agent string, IP address, and, where applicable, hashed personally identifiable information — to Meta's servers for the purpose of measuring campaign attribution, optimising ad delivery algorithms, and constructing custom audience segments. The Meta Conversions API supplements browser-based pixel tracking with server-side event transmission to improve attribution accuracy in environments where browser-level tracking is restricted by ad blockers, browser privacy settings, or platform-imposed cookie limitations.
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Ads Conversion Tracking: Google Tag Manager is utilised as a tag management system to deploy, version-control, and manage all first-party and third-party tracking scripts on our website and client landing pages without requiring direct modifications to the underlying page source code. Through GTM, we deploy Google Ads conversion tracking tags, which fire upon the occurrence of defined conversion events (including lead form submissions and click-to-call interactions) and transmit conversion signals to the advertiser's Google Ads account for the purpose of campaign optimisation, automated bidding strategy calibration, and cross-channel attribution modelling.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Enhanced Measurement: GA4 is deployed to collect granular behavioural data including session-level engagement metrics, scroll depth, outbound link clicks, file downloads, video engagement, and user journey pathing, which are used to inform continuous optimisation of landing page design, content strategy, and conversion funnel architecture. GA4's cross-platform measurement capabilities may, subject to user consent and Google's own privacy policies, associate web and application interactions using Google Signals and logged-in user identity resolution.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag: Where deployed, the LinkedIn Insight Tag enables conversion tracking for LinkedIn Ads campaigns, retargeting of website visitors on the LinkedIn platform, and access to LinkedIn's demographic insights regarding the professional composition of the website audience, including job function, seniority, industry, and company size data. This is particularly relevant for campaigns targeting institutional investors, corporate buyers, and channel partners in the real estate sector.

4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You have several options to control or limit how cookies are used:

4.1 Browser Settings

Most browsers allow you to refuse or accept cookies, delete existing cookies, and set preferences for certain websites. The exact steps vary by browser:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Note: Blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of our website and other websites you visit.

4.2 Opt-Out of Google Analytics

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available from Google's website.

4.3 Opt-Out of Meta (Facebook) Ads

You can manage your Facebook ad preferences through your Facebook account settings under "Ad Preferences", or use the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) opt-out tool.

4.4 Do Not Track

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. Our website does not currently respond to DNT signals, as no uniform industry standard for DNT has been adopted.

5. Third-Party Cookies and Tracking Technologies

In connection with our performance marketing services, we deploy tracking technologies from the following third-party providers who may independently set cookies or collect data when you interact with our website or our clients' advertising campaigns:

  • Google LLC (USA) — Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google Signals, DoubleClick/DV360, YouTube Ads. Data transfers are governed by Google's Data Processing Amendment and Standard Contractual Clauses. Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA) — Facebook Pixel, Meta Conversions API (CAPI), Instagram Ads, Custom Audiences, Lookalike Audiences. Data transfers governed by Meta's Data Processing Terms. Privacy Policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
  • LinkedIn Corporation (USA) — LinkedIn Insight Tag for B2B audience profiling, retargeting, and professional audience conversion tracking. Privacy Policy at linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Hotjar Ltd (Malta) — Session recording, heatmaps, and user behaviour analytics (where deployed on client landing pages). Privacy Policy at hotjar.com/legal/privacy.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — Content delivery network, DDoS protection, and performance optimisation. May set performance and security cookies. Privacy Policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

These third-party providers operate as independent data controllers or processors and have their own privacy and cookie policies governing their use of data collected through their respective technologies. FastClick does not control the data collection or processing activities of these third parties beyond what is required under our contractual arrangements with them.

The transmission of data to third-party providers located outside India (including in the United States) constitutes an international transfer of personal data. We rely on the contractual mechanisms described in our Privacy Policy to legitimise such transfers.

6. Cross-Device and Cross-Session Tracking

As part of our advertising attribution and audience building activities, we may engage in cross-device tracking to understand how users interact with our clients' content across multiple devices (e.g., mobile phone, tablet, desktop computer). This is accomplished through:

  • Deterministic Matching: Using hashed email addresses or phone numbers provided by users when completing lead forms, to match user identities across devices on advertising platforms (subject to platform-specific privacy policies)
  • Probabilistic Matching: Using device fingerprinting signals (IP address, browser type, operating system combinations) to infer cross-device connections without personally identifying the user
  • Platform-Native Graphs: Leveraging Meta's and Google's proprietary cross-device identity graphs to enable unified measurement of campaign reach and frequency across devices

Cross-device tracking enables us to deliver more consistent advertising experiences, prevent overexposure of ads, and measure the true multi-touch attribution of marketing campaigns. You may opt out of cross-device tracking through your advertising platform account settings or by submitting an opt-out request to fastclick001@gmail.com.

7. Consent, Withdrawal, and Cookie Preference Management

Subject to applicable law, we obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing, and functional) on your device. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent and cannot be disabled without impairing the functionality of the website. Your consent options and management mechanisms are as follows:

7.1 Browser-Level Cookie Controls

All major web browsers provide built-in controls to manage cookie acceptance, deletion, and blocking. Instructions for the most commonly used browsers are set out below:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Other Site Data → See All Cookies and Site Data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection → Manage Exceptions
  • Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data → Remove All
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions → Manage and Delete Cookies and Site Data
  • Opera: Settings → Advanced → Privacy & Security → Site Settings → Cookies and Site Data

Please note that disabling cookies may impair or prevent certain features of our website from functioning correctly, and may affect the personalisation and relevance of advertising you encounter across the web.

7.2 Opt-Out of Google Analytics

You may opt out of Google Analytics measurement by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. This add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visit activity.

7.3 Opt-Out of Meta Advertising

You may manage your Meta advertising preferences and opt out of interest-based advertising through: (a) your Facebook account's Ad Preferences settings (facebook.com/ads/preferences); (b) the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) opt-out tool (optout.aboutads.info); or (c) the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out tool (optout.networkadvertising.org). Please note that opting out of personalised advertising does not mean you will no longer receive ads — you will continue to receive generic, non-targeted advertisements.

7.4 Do Not Track (DNT) Signals

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites as an expression of the user's preference not to be tracked. Currently, no uniform industry-wide standard for responding to DNT signals has been adopted. Our website does not alter its data collection or use practices in response to DNT browser signals at this time. We will update this position if and when a recognised standard is established.

7.5 Mobile Advertising ID Opt-Out

On mobile devices, you can limit interest-based advertising through your device's advertising settings: on iOS devices, use the "Limit Ad Tracking" or "Allow Apps to Request to Track" settings; on Android devices, navigate to Settings → Google → Ads → Opt Out of Ads Personalisation. Resetting your advertising ID will also disassociate any prior behavioural data from your device.

8. Legal Basis for Cookie Deployment

The legal basis for our deployment of cookies and similar technologies under Indian law and applicable international frameworks is as follows:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Deployed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a functional and secure website, and on the basis that these cookies are technically necessary for the delivery of a service expressly requested by the user. No consent is required for their deployment under applicable law.
  • Analytics Cookies: Deployed on the basis of your consent (where legally required) and our legitimate interest in understanding website usage, improving user experience, and measuring the effectiveness of our digital presence.
  • Advertising and Targeting Cookies: Deployed on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in delivering relevant advertising experiences to potential real estate buyers and in measuring campaign attribution and return on advertising spend.
  • Functional Cookies: Deployed on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in providing enhanced website functionality and personalised user experiences.

Our use of cookies and similar tracking technologies is governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000; the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021; and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as it comes fully into force. We are committed to ongoing compliance with evolving Indian data protection legislation and to updating our practices as required by any notifications, rules, or guidance issued by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology or the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Cookie Retention Periods and Lifecycle Management

Cookies are retained for varying durations depending on their type and purpose. Session cookies are erased automatically when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a specified period. The retention periods for our primary cookies are set out in the tables under Section 2. As a general principle:

  • We conduct periodic reviews (at minimum annually) of all cookies deployed on our website and our clients' landing pages to verify that they remain necessary, proportionate, and compliant with applicable law
  • We promptly remove or update any cookies that are no longer necessary for their stated purpose or that exceed their maximum retention period
  • We update this Cookie Policy to reflect any changes to our cookie inventory resulting from periodic reviews, platform updates, or changes in applicable law
  • Third-party cookies are subject to the retention periods specified by the respective providers and governed by their independent privacy policies

10. Amendments to This Cookie Policy

We reserve the right to amend, update, or replace this Cookie Policy at any time, in order to reflect changes in applicable law, regulatory guidance, our cookie inventory, technological developments, or our business practices. Material changes will be notified by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by displaying a prominent notice on our website or notifying registered users by email. Continued use of our website following the posting of any revised Cookie Policy constitutes your acceptance of such changes. If you do not accept the revised policy, you should configure your browser settings to block or delete cookies and discontinue use of our website.
